  1. 100% service wounded vet former RN. I did not write my book due to my service injuries but due to what my country did to me after I got out. I have never heard of something this bad. My country stripped me of all my rights , health, all my savings, quality of life and a family. The brutal torture for years left me in some state of shock and partially crippled. The legal and medical system completely failed over and over and over again. Our wounded vets will never heal with dignity and honor if they are not treated fairly under the law. Due to nerve damage in my back the unapproved equipment caused ( Sofamor Danek) I have had weak legs and lost a lot of muscle mass in my legs. I have trouble helping myself. I never got any help and I still need help. B.FGoodrich tire company in Tuscaloosa Alabama hired me knowing of my ” Class C” spinal x-ray birth defect. I never knew anything about it and will take a polygraph. A class ” C ” is a no hire x-ray for hard labor and they were not supposed to hire me. I was in college using my GI bill, I had options. Just months into the hard labor I was injured. the company refused to help me first, then when I got an atty he let the statute run on my case, he did not have any mal-practice insurance. Then after the surgery I learned the equipment was not approved by the FDA for the reason it was used. CT scan showed screws rubbing on nerves. Stayed in my back for 5 years because doctors feared I would have more nerve damage if they took it out. i found another atty to sue Sofamor Danek for 3 million. The federal judge threw the case out saying the equipment was not bent or broke. Doctors diagnosis was ” Failure of equipment ” Story gets worse but you can read it in my book. During the deposition by Sofamor Daneks atty first question was explain the pain the equipment caused? All I could do was cry and cry. Atty said get up take a break and come back. He then asked me the same question, all I could do was cry and cry. I could never answer the question and the deposition was over.
See http://www.greghardin.com and my new project Fundly.com search under ” Wounded vet in crisis” please consider helping a wounded vet who was denied the very liberty and justice he was defending for all.
    thank you .

  2. “In describing this class of traumatic brain injury”, says Asvar, “the term ‘mild’ is an absolute misnomer given the severity of possible complications and repercussions.” He adds, “Dismissing someone’s brain injury as ‘mild’ is akin to saying someone is ‘mildly’ paraplegic.” Chris Asvar, Esq. http://www.asvarlaw.com/casestudies/

Note: Chris Asvar did his job for his young client: “LOS ANGELES – January 25, 2012. Los Angeles-based attorney Christopher Asvar has just secured the highest known workers’ compensation insurance settlements in California history, totaling $8.9 million on behalf of his young client who suffered a work-place traumatic brain injury.”

  3. Well, here is the latest, last week when I was at the court house I learned I had been paying property tax for 13 years but was not required to pay a dime!! Due to being a 100% wounded vet. They owe me 10,000.00 plus 2500.00 in interest. Alabama law only allows me to get 2 years back with no interest. Screwed again!!
I keep asking myself at what point would a reasonable rational man be expected to defend himself?
